Digital strategy for a state agency
Business Context
The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) is the agency of state government charged with the responsibility to maintain and improve library services for the people of Massachusetts. The MBLC Consumer Portal was in the need of new design and organizational structure to increase their overall consumer digital experience with fresh design, efficient and integrated search etc.
Kyyba Solution
Our team partnered with the agency’s IT leadership and analyzed the existing Consumer portal. We understood the goals of MBLC and facilitated multiple focus group discussions and surveys. We sought usability feedback on look and feel, navigation and UX attributes; and presented an iterative design solution to MBLC. A baseline design was arrived at after a few iterations and feedback which was well received by the stakeholders. The UX design aligned with the proposed technology stack including WordPress, PHP and MariaDB.
