Prior to his retirement from the Ford Motor Company in February 2006, Dave McNamara was the manager of Advanced Infotainment Systems, part of Ford’s Research and Innovation Center located in Dearborn, Michigan. His charter at Ford Research was to develop new infotainment features and functions that provide superior customer value and enhance brand differentiation. He led a key connectivity project called MyConnected World for the Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo brands. This new infotainment product, the “Audio Connectivity module,” enables drivers to bring the latest digital music and video media into their vehicle and is now deployed across all Jaguar/Land Rover brands as an option. The MyConnected World project was a forerunner of the highly successful Ford SYNC, first announced by Ford and Microsoft at the 2007 Consumer Electronic Show.
With extensive product development experience (business strategy, supplier mentoring, project management, etc), he is highly knowledgeable in the areas of electrical/electronic architecture, user interfaces, vehicle networks, Intelligent Transportation Systems, wireless networks and consumer device connectivity.
In 2006, Dave launched his consulting business, McNamara Technology Solutions, and worked with several clients in the area of active safety (mmWave radar based systems), automotive electrical/electronics architecture and automotive wireless technology. He is active in the Society of Automotive Engineers, IEEE, and is an invited speaker to several conferences, which include the Telematics Update Events and the annual Consumer Electronics Show. He co-authored an invited paper for the Proceedings of the IEEE with other of his former Ford Research colleagues titled, “Control, Computing and Communications: Technologies for the Twenty-First Century Model T.” He is a regular contributor to ITS International Magazine having written several articles on Diagnostics/Prognostics, IntelliDrive (SM), User Interface Technology and the Consumer Electronics Show.
He received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1973 and his Masters Degree in solid-state physics from the University of Florida in 1975. He holds six patents in the areas of prognostics, navigation and security systems. |

As a General Manager – Manufacturing, Mazda Motor USA Corp., Flat Rock., Michigan, Ray was responsible for all vehicle manufacturing operations including stamping, body, plastics and vehicle assembly along with maintenance and new model preparation. This includes launching a Greenfield “State of the Art” stamping facility.
At General Motors, Pontiac, Michigan, Ray held various positions including die designer, process engineer, production general foreman, Assistant Superintendent - Industrial Engineering, Superintendent - Stamping Manufacturing Engineering and Superintendent - Major panel stamping plant operations.
Ray received BSME from General Motors Institute, Flint, Michigan, MBA from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and MSIOE from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. |

Tim has facilitated the launch of new products and technologies of global introduction for top fortune 500 companies and has been successful in managing the global sales team to exceed the revenue projections.
Tim has an extensive background in Data & PC electronics, Data Connectivity & Digital Photography and combines this with exceptional team leadership, communication, & customer service skills.
Tim’s business focus is in the building and structure of a company’s front end, the sales team. He has a unique ability to target, chart and track business development and to motivate the team to exceed the required goals. |

Mark is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Mark has spent his twenty plus year career in manufacturing, business development, and processes engaged with the automotive industry. Mark is the president and owner of a long-standing industry supplier.
Over the course of his career, he has worked globally facilitate business in the Asia Pacific, European & North America markets.
Mark maintains competency is several product and brand disciplines such as Plastics, Metals, Electronics, and Textiles.
He has successfully lead initiatives that have brought new technologies to market taking them from concept to commercialization.
