N. RAY HEDDING
Vince has over 32 years of Global Japanese Tier 1 automotive and non-automotive experience in the areas of general management, strategic business planning, sales, marketing, finance, accounting, engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain.
He is the former president of Panasonic Automotive Systems Company of America, where he led the teams that grew the OEM business growth from $40 M to $1.4 B. He has extensive experience and expertise working with global automotive OEM's and OEM suppliers and is highly accomplished in the art of cultivating and sustaining long term relationships by uniquely combining solid cross-cultural interpersonal skills with sound business-side customer growth strategies.
He has worked in the consulting arena specializing in strategy formation, new business development, product planning, business planning and unique special projects.
Vince has a proven ability to create innovative growth strategies, resulting in numerous first to market automotive products. He is highly experienced in analyzing and successfully negotiating strategic alliances and is highly accomplished in leading high level cross functional teams.
Vince has work experience in the automotive industry, industrial components and devices industry, consumer electronics industry, parts and service and small package delivery.
Vince holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
N. Ray Hedding, as a Senior Advisor, supports and guides Kyyba in its strategic software services and client engagement.
Ray has more than 39 years of experience with some of the United States leading automakers in various manufacturing management and executive positions in processing, launching and producing vehicle assembly and automotive related body panels in the areas of production, tools, engineering and manufacturing computer systems.
As a Director – Advance Stamping Manufacturing Engineering (ASME), DaimlerChrysler, Auburn Hills, Michigan, Ray was responsible for all new model stamping manufacturing engineering including:
- Process, Design and build for dies and stamping assemblies, corporate tool and die construction facility – Mt. Elliott
- New Technology for Stamping, Stamping planning, new press room equipment and facilities
- Manufacturing computer Hardware and Software Technology Development for Vehicle Assembly, Power train and Stamping
- Advance technical training for all manufacturing and new model products
As a General Manager – Manufacturing, Mazda Motor USA Corp., Flat Rock., Michigan, Ray was responsible for all vehicle manufacturing operations including stamping, body, plastics and vehicle assembly along with maintenance and new model preparation. This includes launching a Greenfield "State of the Art" stamping facility.
At General Motors, Pontiac, Michigan, Ray held various positions including die designer, process engineer, production general foreman, Assistant Superintendent – Industrial Engineering, Superintendent – Stamping Manufacturing Engineering and Superintendent – Major panel stamping plant operations.

Luke Bonner has nearly 15 years of progressive economic development experience. Over that time Luke has completed over 1,000 business retention visits, supported over 250 company projects, where the companies have committed to nearly 10,000 jobs and over $1 billion of new investment in Michigan communities. In the past three years at Ann Arbor SPARK Luke has most notably spearheaded the redevelopment of the former Willow Run Powertrain Facility into a connected and autonomous vehicle test center. Luke has organized partners such as The University of Michigan, Center for Automotive Research, and Walbridge, to escalate this project to global audiences.
As the Economic Development Manager for Sterling Heights, Luke capitalized on a burgeoning defense industry to develop projects such as the BAE Systems Ground Vehicle Center of Excellence. Luke navigated a very sophisticated system of site consultants, government procurement, and a challenging land deal, to put an incentive package together to help bring this project to a reality. Luke began his career in Taylor, Michigan, working on 25 brownfield redevelopment projects for the City to create jobs, investment, and reduce blight in the community.
Luke currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Ann Arbor SPARK, and holds an advisory board position with Farmington based Kyyba, an Inc. 500/5000 fastest growing company. Luke has been a featured speaker at a number of events including GVSETS-Defense Industry, Connected Vehicle Trade Association, and local tech meetups in Ann Arbor. Luke holds a bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, a Master's Degree in Liberal Studies and Technology at Eastern Michigan, and has completed real estate course work at the Ross School of Business. Luke holds professional certifications with the International Economic Developers Council and National Development Council.
